[ARCHIVED THREAD] - GG converted USC

Is it possible to take a USC that currently uses the grease gun conversion and convert it to use a UMP lower?
I thought that some material had to be trimmed away to use the GG conversion.
something to do with magazine access hole....? Will this affect the UMP conversion?
Any info please?
