whats a FMP kit installed on a FMP receiver worth?  Its a KIT build.  Unknown builder.  Made around 96-98.  Post ban obviously.

I am considering it in a trade deal for my SAM5-SG 5.56 Bulgarian AK.

Not sure of the value of a kit gun....but I have an FMP factory-built rifle (XG3S) if you would be interested.

I can give you a break down of my FMP parts gun.
FMP receiver complete w/ cocking tube installed - $475.00
German G3 kit - $299.00
Assembly - $230.00
Paddle mag install - $90.00
Unfinished, still has just the parkerized finish that was on the receiver.
Add a little shipping and I have a tad over $1100.00 in this thing.
Does that give ya something to go on?

ETA: bought all this back around 1999 to put a timeline on things.

yeah i figured around $450 for the FMP reciever, another $300-350 for the kit + 922R parts.  Say $800 + $100 in 922R parts = $900.  Plus labor a bit over $1000.

Is it that much better than the CAI guns out there or?  I would hope so.  For the $1000+ tag on the FMP gun I could just get a PTR91... ah man
