I cannot adjust the elevation on my HK33/53 for the life of me. It's almost like the splines are frozen within the drum.

Could someone post instructions for adjusting the elevation on the rear sight of roller locked rifles?

I swear I'm not doing this wrong, thanks!

I use the needle-nose pliers/forceps trick.

I seem to be just twisting the rear sight aimlessly with both methods.

How do I know that the internal drum isn't stuck without going back to the range and blowing more ammunition?

I had to let mine soak in oil overnight, I thought it was locked up too.  And, take your elevation tool to the range with you.

I actually made a video for this over two years ago
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3dKvcw3Vq4

It has languished for a long time with no views, I was amazed to look it up today, and find it had topped 1300 WOW!

Though in this case it sounds like you have larger issues.
I wish you luck Sir.
