| Would an Aimpoint Micro T-1 with LaRue's lowest profile mount work well on an MP5 clone? Also have the MFI low profile Picatinney rail. Anybody using this combo. Probably not shooting over 100 yards with the 10mm SBR. |
| Seems to me that the sight picture would be really cluttered by the front site with a low mount. I've got a micro coming in with a high mount for my AR. I also have the MFI rail on a mp5 clone. I'll slap in on the MFI with the Aimpoint factory mount and take some pics for ya. Hope to have the micro by the end of the week. |

Towards the bottom I have my 94 pictured witht the T1. I am a tech idiot so I do not know how to hot link yet.
I don't notice the front site when using this set up. Does not co witness, but like I stated, a 9mm probably would not be used beyond 30m. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=219&t=169208 |

I've got a T-1 on an H&K (midheight) Larue mount that I intend to use on my B&T MP5 rail but have not tried ti yet as my gun is at IGF still.
Will post a pic for comparison. I'm not sure it will even mount from reading that post linked above, as the Larue might need more rails. Will try it out tomorrow. |

Dan,
I've shot an Mp5 with a CompM4 on the B&T mount. Cowitness worked well, and I was ringing steel at 300+ yards during one of Sully's classes with the combo (once we figured out the rather generous holdover The T1 is a great little dot, but I'd be looking for the CompM4 and B&T combo if I had my own Mp5, 33/53 or 51 sized HK. |

FYI, the Larue QD mount will not work on the Aimpoint rail for the MP5. I didn't think about it before I bought mine, don't make the same mistake.
You have to go with something like the MFI rail if you want to use the Larue which requires more than 2 slots to mount. |
