Does any one know if the older G3A1 flip sight can be mounted on an HK91? Has any one tried it?

You would need to change the complete sight, base and all - not an easy task as welding would be required.

Welding is reuired and I have fired one of the older HK's You won't like the older rear site as it is shorter than the new one. I had to lean my head over almost on top of the stock to use it.
