I've been seeing more and more pictures and ads of G36 type rifles for sale.

From what I've read, these are SL-8 rifles that have been converted look like the G36.

What has to be done to the rifle for this conversion?

What parts have to be changed?

How do you change the color?

Who does the conversions?

What do they cost?

I WANT ONE!!!!!

Completely built up, a G36 conversion will run you about $5K and I think most folks are SBRing them to get around the 922(r) number of foreign parts restriction.  Of course what's another $200 here and there....

i got mine for around 4000 (cheaper now that i know what i need and where to look)
^includes what i paid for the sbr and how it is in the pic with the eotech and 10 mags

if you are serious about the rifle look over at hkpro.com and look up chopstixkid or tbostic they both have the same conversion as me or you can use a stock block conversion where you dont have to cut the rifle
