Anyone have a source for these, or any pics? I hear HK made some in the old days?

The HK laser for the 9 series were made by Applied Laser Systems of Grants Pass Oregon.  They have been out of business for a little while now, but attached directly to the dustcap and were secured by a hex screw.

Sure Fire has a mount at well and uses the L72 assembly.

Of course you can always use a railed handguard and mount whatever you wish to use.

Laser Devices makes an improved version of the original cocking tube laser for the MP5, HK53/33 and G3 series. I bought one for 549.00 and installed it in my PTR91. Its most excellent...

They pop up on Gunbroker time to time and goes for $200.
IMHO, surefire makes the best laser for MP5... then again, prepare to spend $1K on it.

I just had a friend dig one our of his safe and asked me if I knew where to get batteries?

Anyone know?

On Edit:
I found this link at HKPro but am not sure it is the correct battery without seeing an old one.

the ALS lasers are neat but compared to any modern laser they really suck

Radio Shack has the batteries, they are for dog shock collars I think, not cheap, like $20 or so
