I got a email from Wendy yesterday and sent my FFL and MO's out today.... I've got one of the very early SW5's and haven't had a hitch since I broke it in.  Anyone know the current wait time?  Her email sounded like they were built and ready to go out, but I've read it could take a while to get.

I ordered a CA89 on 4/8 and got the email that it was shipping on 4/16. That's gotta be a record.

I picked it up last night and it looks great. Good work on their part. Looking forward to shooting it.

I think they assemble these in "batches". So when you order one, if they don't have one to send out right then, then you'll have to wait until they make a "run" of that model to get one.  I know that Todd has also stated on his forum that sometimes they may have to wait on specific parts for a specific model to get them built and shipped.  I picked up my CA89 last monday and it is just about as perfect as a clone can be.  I couldn't be hardly any happier with it.

Have you shot it yet?

I'm interested in how it works out of the box since I have one on order.  I'm probably going to go ahead and place an order for an 89k also, just in case he isn't bluffing about cutting them from the lineup.

I haven't had the chance to shoot the CA89 yet, but the CA89k I received about two months ago ran two mags(real HK mags) thru it without a hitch.  It even had the original extractor spring in it.

Got it Thursday night. Just shot it a bit and seems to work fine. The extractor spring seems weaker than the HK version, about 2/3 the resistance. I think I'll change it out.

Here it is with my V51P.

Slightly better contrast & image.

All apart.

Trigger pack.

I got real lucky.... this sear has sat in his safe since he got it from fleming...

Plus... I got it cheap... well not cheap, but cheap considering what they are selling for now.

...I'm up to 4-5 weeks for my '89.  How does one check up on order status without making any enemies?

UPDATE: got it.  This thing is awesome.
