| Going to be hard to find from an individual as the first tax(to make) is 200 dollars regardless of whether it is an AOW or SBR. Most opt for the SBR so they can have the option of using a stock(much recommended on these). Subsequent transfers on an AOW are 5.00 but not the initial/making tax. You might try Vector or some other manufacturer. |

Boy is he right about that. I SBRed my SW-45 PDW and also got the receiver end cap for shits and giggles. The stock makes a WORLD of difference, much more than I ever would have though possible. Without the stock and only the end cap on it it is pretty much spray and pray but with the stock you can actually hit something. |

Yes, Todd Bailey has had these listed on Gunbroker for quite a while. But, he's supposed to be getting out of the HK clone business, so I wouldn't wait if I wanted one of these. Matter of fact I didn't, I've got one of the CA89k pistols on order right now. Supposed to be ready real soon. They have been there since at least Halloween (that's when I started looking). The non-NFA items seem to go faster than the NFA items. I have two of these clones that are in the process of being SBR'd. I read all the stuff about TB and his products. The consensus was that the new stuff was alright. I couldn't agree more. Ditch the mag that comes with it for factory HK mags and it should run like a top (others report that you need to change minor extractor parts but mine did not need this). It's not HK, but then again it's 1/4 the price. Good luck. |
