What is the range of adjustability with these stocks?

How comfortable are they? (Can you rest your cheek on them while firing without sustaning any facial damage?)

Two positions, open and close, that's it.  Cheek weld is poor and they're hard on the shoulder (and cheek) to some shooters.


ETA: people have machined additional cuts in the rail for more adjustment.

As far as the adjustably of the stock it's in or out. They're not much fun to shoot off from and  check weld is nonexistent. That being said I have one for my G3, V93 and my mp5 copy they rate high in the cool factor (chicks dig them)

I did. Helps a LOT. I have long arms and still found the factory open position to be wayyyy too long. Now I can bring the gun in closer where I want to hold it.

Cheekweld is virtually nonexistant, so an Aimpoint was needed for me...

Just got a PTR and will be installing an A3 stock. I qualified on the same system when working with the Bundeswehr in the mid-eighties, it was standard issue for Fallschirmjager and Gebirgsjager units. Not the most comfortable but as previously stated it's hell for sexy. FWIW I was going to trade the PTR out but the damn thing is warming on me.

Centerfire has used folding G3 stocks for $149.

The first one I got needed refinishing, the second one was LN.

thoughts exactly.  I was let down.  They do look pretty damn cool though.  When I get back from the box I will be ordering the magpul stock.  Its to my liking.
