| It'll shoot either..remember, these rifles don't have a gas system like a M14, FAL, so, they don't have the same restraints concerning different types of powder, or bullet weight, that the gas guns like the M14 do,so, any .308, commerical or surplus, should work |
| One other thing to keep in mind, the serial number will start with either an "A" or a "B". The receivers that are assembled into rifles by the PTR-91 (formerly JLD) factory are marked with an "A". They also sell receivers that aren't assembled so that other assemblers can use to build rifles on, these are marked with a "B". I'd want to make sure the rifle in question is a factory assembled rifle, or I'd want to know who built it. I'd be willing to bet that you are looking at a factory rifle. Hope this helps-ARKAR |
