Very new to the MP5 setup and forum, couldn't find an answer to this...

All I want to build is your standard Semi-auto Mp5 A2/A4 and came across these trigger packs:

http://hkspecialist.net/trigger.htm

Will the HK MP5K 4POS 3RB TRIGGER GROUP work for a standard Semi-auto MP5 (not MP5k) build? Any insite, advice, or comments are welcome.

No, it won't.

Aside from the pin hole being in a different location, those trigger groups contain factory auto sears and are for push-pin (swing down) receivers. Altering one to fit a semi shelfed gun would constitute "manufacturing a machine gun".

Read this www.hkpro.com/hkconversions.htm (at least twice)

Yes, just the internal pack. The MP5K trigger/grip housing wont fit a HK94.You need a MP5 housing. The MP5 FBI-SF group would work great for your application. They can be modified by whats called clip and pin. You remove the auto sear and throw it away. Then cut the trigger pack at the auto sear pin hole which makes it never again able to function with a factory auto sear. Cut down the auto sear spring to resemble a semi sear spring. Then drill a new 5mm hole for the old pin and spring.
The trigger pack/grip housing is then milled or dremiled to clear the HK semi shelf.
You are making it semi only with no way of taking a factory auto sear EVER.
