I was considering getting a USP Tactical (.45) for myself once I finish my AR build.  I'm guessing since the ban is no longer in effect.... I can get that pistol without issue (threaded barrel and all)?  Also, I would want to get the original HK silencer with it.  I know any silencer I would need to pay the $200 and all that paper work crap.... but is it even possible to get an original HK silencer???

You can buy an HK Tactical no problem.

The suppressor originally sold by HK with the MK23 is made by Knight's Armament Company of Vero Beach, FL. and will not fit the USP Tactical (RH threads vs LH threads on the USP) but, they do offer a model for the USP as well.

I believe the original Suppressor for the Tactical is a Brugger & Thomet

" and is the very design H&K Oberndorf adopted into their inventory system for the HK USP series pistols, (including the MK23) "

James00 is right, I stand corrected.

I've been eyeing that USP Compact Tactical.
