I am seriously looking into buying a .40 caliber MP5 clone and was wondering if I was going to SBR it should I get the one with the fake suppressor or the pistol? How hard is it to place a new collapsible stock on the pistol?

Or should I just go with the 9mm pistol since I haven't heard that much of the new .40 reliability.

Get the pistol if you are gonna SBR it.. All you will have to do is buy a stock, and put it on.. After you get back the approved Form 1, that is..

If you go with the fake can, you will have much more to do.

I'd get the .40 instead of the 9mm though

only problem is, the real HK mags are rediculously expensive, and the US-made stuff is still pricey

My theory is to buy one of each and SBR it before the Dems take back control of the gov't, and take away the opportunity to build one of these...

But that's just my theory...  ;-)

I found a pretty cheap deal on a real HK 94 for only 700 more. I think I am going to go ahead and get it instead. Its got a pretty long barrel and it doesnt have a newer looking lower. What will I have to do to get it looking like a newer model? Thanks for the replys

+ 1000 I'm buying every gun I have always wanted and lots of magazines for each of them
if the crats get back in my thoughts are that they will ban them all for good ! and then we will again be paying 100 each for mags if were lucky enough to find them!

I don't know.  I worry about that too, but the severe foot up the ass we gave them over the 94 AWB has tended to give most of them pause.

Also, they won't be getting 60 in the Senate.  If the GOP wants to gain back lost seats they will try to kill any anti-gun stuff.

I understand your preparations but remember the damn thing BARELY passed the first time.

And only passed with a 10 year time limit in place.  It would never have passed if it were permanent.
