It is a very stable stock for a collapsible one.

I have installed it but still haven't had the opportunity to shoot the rifle with the collapsible stock.

Some call it a meat tenderizer.

I have a cut down HK91.  Should I spend $200 for a collasible stock?  Is it comfortable to shoot with?  Would I be better off just keeping the fixed stock on it?

For a shooter stick with the full size with the large rubber buttstock

In my opinion the HK91 collasible stock is good for making the rifle short to fit into small range bags and for looking cool.

For any kind of shooting I prefer the fixed stock.
My cheek bone sits right on the collasible stock frame rail, the rail is very skinny and it digs into my face.

I love my stock.  Get an original HK as the POF's and others have been known to loosen up.  Mine is nothing but comfortable.  I'm used to it by now.  Fixed is more comfortable but the A3 stock is as sexy as a SPAS-12 folder.  Get one ASAP!

Ther use to be a small plastic piece that bridged the rails on the coll. stock and allowed you to get a better, less painful cheek weld. Anyone remember these??

I have the wooden and plastic A2 and an HK A3 stock.  The A3 stock is comfortable to shoot while wearing a heavier jack, but like previously stated my check weld ends up with my cheek bone sitting right on top of the rail.  I got used to it.  It has a well defined pyramid texture on the butt plate that is a little unfriendly if you are wearing a tee shirt.

In my opinion the price is worth the coolness factor.  It gets alot of attention at the range.  Plus if you have spent $2k+ for the rifle, what's another $250 for the stock?

On a side note I think the rifle should also come with a warning sign to place to the right of you for when you are shooting near others.  I accidentally tagged a friend in the hand with a spent brass casing and it split his finger open.  He was nice enough not to shoot me in his pain :)
