[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which commercial ammo is accurate in your G3/91 pattern gun?

With a 1:12 twist, I'm going to assume that my PTR will lean towards liking the lighter weight (140-155gn) bullets.

What commercial ammo (hunting, tactical or match) have you had good results with and in what gun?

I have a HK91 and use Federal 150 grain soft points for shooting and deer hunting. I shoot Winchester 150 grain power points in a DSA FAL 16"...and the HK91 shoots well with Winchester too.

The 91 will shoot MOA groups at 100 yards with the 150s.

Mine factory HK-91 handles 168 Fed Match really well. I don't have a scope mounted and my eyes could be better, but I was able to get 1.5" 5 shot groups out of it pretty consistently last time I was out.

WHen I had my 91, I always liked to shoot Federal 168 gr Gold Medal Match through it
