I just ordered a new Aimpoint Comp ML2, and wish to use it with my HK MP5. What I desire is a mount/QD ring combination that will allign the red dot up precisely with the front sight, while using the same cheek weld. In other words, I want to be able to leave the mount attached to the MP5, but want to be able to quickly attach and detach the Aimpoint without losing zero. Also, I want to achieve the same cheek weld with or without the aimpoint. Lastly, I want to be able to co witness with the aimpoint mounted... basically be able to use iron sights through the aimpoint in case the aimpoint fails. Will this combination work? I assume it will work, since both are labeled "Aimpoint," but will it give me the results I'm looking for? Trying to get the red dot to line up precisely with the front sight with a good cheek weld. I'm looking at the top middle mount (BT10266) and the bottom right QD ring (BT21530)
