I Just got a new wide handguard for my PTR-91 and I'm having trouble getting in the push-pin for the handguard. Does it have to go in on a specific side of the rifle? Same question for the buttstock retainer pins.

It should go eather side, The one on my HK-91 goes eather way

can go from either side same as a HK product, my PTR pins are a bit harder to get in then the ones on my HK94's.

I had problems with the wide handguard on my PTR-91. I used a dremmel to ream out the handguard hole a little bit to make it fit. So far, so good. YMMV
