***The B-Square mount must have a special rear set screw that fits into the hole on the top of the receiver! Do not use a claw mount or a B-square mount with the G3 back “top set-screw”. The tapered screw WILL COME LOOSE! I need to post pictures of the different mounting set screws. The tapered one will move and that is what I see everyone have on their rifle. If one is ordered for a CETME it will have an extra screw in the package and you need to switch it out. My friend picked one up in a pawn shop and after it moves I chucked it up in a large drill and hit the end with a dremmel tool and ground a “nipple” that locks into the hole on the top of the CETME receiver and made him one. I saw a guy at the range that had welded the mount on to keep it from moving…I did not say anything but nice rifle……...I have one too. |
