That is a shadow on the dovetail for the front site.  It would be rather pointless to put a supressor on a gun with a ported barrel. Kind of like Hollywood putting a supressor on a revolver. It just won't work.  Not trying to flame, but just wanted to help with proper info. After all this site is about people helping people.

I think some one over at HKPro.com (I;d go there for more info!) said that they were made for the SEALs so they could start replacing the Sig 226. They gave a link to the news page that said this. I have ever cannot confirm no deny, only pass on what I've read. Cute little bugger though, ain't it.
