My SP-10 showed up a little while ago.  I finally had a chance to run some ammo thru it today.

I was shooting Remington JHP 115gr +P.  Expensive shit man...heh.  I wanted to try wolf or the wally world winchester, but the range didn't have any.

The only mag I have for it is the 10 rounder it came with.  So thats what I used.

I had no problems at all.  Its a real smooth gun.  I only had time to run a box thru it (50 rounds).  It ran 100%.

Accuracy... I shot at 25m and 50m targets.  I was kind of half assing the accuracy because I wasn't too worried about it right now, and I didn't have my glasses, or a bench rest or anything... just my elbows on the table.  At 25m it did about a 4 inch group... at 50m it didn't even hit the paper The sights need some major adjusting..heh.

If I can half ass a 4 inch group I'm sure accuracy won't be an issue when I'm actually trying.

I'm happy with it.  Works great.  Glad I got in on the $750 batch

dskeet......

Sweet.....I have been waiting to see one of these.....

Are you able to fold the stock or change it to a folding one in Sept......

Thanks in advance....

Nope.. the stock won't fold and there doesn't appear to be a way to modify it to be a folder.  Todd says they redesigned the stock and will sell folders once the ban expires.  We'll see what happens.

I've shot mine twice so far, about 500 rounds of fmj and hollowpoints (all gunshow specials!) This rifle shoots great. Toward the end of the day I did start to get some FT Feeds but I can live with that, the gun was filthy from the re-loaded ammo I was using. No problems feeding from HK 30 rounders or the CDNN 34 rounders that are the $20 asian "contract"mags. I put a red dot on the gun and it can shoot a one holer at 25 yards (30 rounds of 9mm makes it a big one holer but still). My b1tches? 1. Where can I get a light to fit in the front end of this thing? 2. Trigger pull is very heavy (don't know if this is normal for HKs, but my AR with a Rock River LPK is so much better). 3. almost imposible to move the safety lever from safe to fire with out changing your grip on the rifle (HK design flaw, not Special Weapons fault). 4. AW ban prevents me from putting a folding stock on it (but come Sept 14. All in all, an excellent gun for what I paid.

Whats the point of this gun?  We already have a ton of 9mm guns.  Just from Todds company we have the SW5.  We have the USC in 45 and I am willing to bet my life HK guns have better engineering then Todds guns.  I am not ripping you guys by any means.  I just dont understand the need for such a gun. I guess its something different.

He who has the most toys wins!  Actually, I'm not interested in a 9mm since I have a SW5, but perhaps a 40sw, 357sig, or maybe 10mm! :)

There you go there are some alternatives.  But why another 9mm?
