They had to be sold out too.

Guess I'll have to spend $10,900.00 on something else.

Why waste your money?  Get a Stoner--it shoots just as well (if not better), and costs less than half what the PSG1 costs.  I really don't understand the appeal of the HK.

Probably because it's German & very "tactical" looking. You know how much extra people will pay for that....

They are very fine rifles.  Very overpriced.  Supply and demand, I suppose. Perhaps the finest and most accurate auto loader on the market.  I've printed quarter minute groups with my friend's rifle.  but for a tenth of the cost, I'll live with my half minute groups out of my M1A1...

I do have an HK-93 with a Psg-1 pac and an MSg stock.  standard barrel with Federal GMM it is a half minute gun.

All in all, you get what you pay for, but the Psg1 is way too rich for my blood.  Yet, ya have to love those ugly black rifles.

They may be very fine rifles, but they sure as shit ain't worth 10 grand.  I shoot .3 - .5 moa with my SR-25, which is also a semiauto and cost 3 grand.

Buying the SR-25 instead of the PSG defeats the purpose.  The PSG is now a collector's item - after all, how many sniper's rifles come stock with a tripod?  I would love to add one to my collection.

Yeah, and the $10k is only an initial cost. You can get all the 20 rnd. mags you want for under $10 each.

I'll stick with my AR-10TLW.

That's true IF you're buying it as a collector's piece--not going to shoot it.  Personally, I'm not going to buy a gun (especially one that costs that kind of money) that I'm not going to shoot.  Hell, I shoot ALL my guns.  But that's just me.

That SR-25 is awesome.

I've been seriously thinking about buying one. The only problem is the cost.  Anyone wanna buy a kidney or something?

The PSG-1 is all collectibility.

For accuracy get a bolt action sniper.

For semi auto accuracy get a tuned up M14.

Or an SR25.

This might be off-topic, but I have a question for you all:

What IS the most accurate rifle? Not like a .22 at short range, but an overall, long distance rifle?

Anyone have any good links?
