| The trigger pull on my FAL is extremely heavy. I was wondering if there is a drop in hammer, trigger, sear or anyway to improve it. Thanks. |

Used to be "hammer, trigger, sear" sets from "FSE", Father Son Enterprise's. Check over at "The FAL Files". Depending upon the type of FAL you have there is a trigger return spring in the handle which may be lightened up a bit. I wouldn't go below 5 lbs. though. Best, Rob |

Best, Rob If, repeat IF you have good-to-excellent quality trigger group components, then one of these spring kits will fix you up:http://www.falconarms.com/springskits/fnfal. If you don't have good or better TG components, then either re-work them until they are so, or buy good ones, then the kit. |

Jard triggers. You can read about them on the FAL files also.

| This guy has gotten good reviews from customers. I'm debating on whether I want that good a trigger pull on my STG. |
| You may want to try polishing up the trigger and sear first. I have done this on all of my FALs and have yet to have any problems with lite strikes or anything else. I use a Dremmel with buffing wheel and polishing compound. If you google search gunplumbers fal book it should have a pdf version of his book that will tell you how to do the trigger yourself using lesson #304 . |
