I pulled an Argy Receiver from a Brit kit and put a Sarco Argy kit on it.
Argy Clone? No Franken FAL ? Yes Tacticool? No Elegantcool? I'd like to think so I was going for something different. I had a line on an actual T48 handguard but it slipped through my fingers and it obviously was not going to match the pistol grip and buttstock. Plus fragile. Of course I could always throw the Argy handguards back on but I like that I could mount a Harris bipod stud on this one. - Wood from Rich a.k.a. "Blue Monster" FAL Files - Finish and Build by Dan Richardson in Cleveland, TN. - Folding Charging Handle by "mountainman" FAL Files - Repro flash hider and handle filler piece by "slocat" FAL Files - I picked up that ACOG for $300 with scratched glass with a lot of the paint chipped off and beat to hell. Sent it to Trijicon. They replaced front/rear glass as well as Fiber and test/calibrated it for about $200. Dan amazingly refinished it as brand new. I was shocked I wanna thank members here and on the FAL Files for (knowingly or unknowingly) helping me get educated about FALs and steer this project along. Just picked it up today so gonna be a couple weeks before I can feed it.
