| What would I be giving up by going with one of their STG-58's versus the SA-58? Is it worth the extra clams for the SA58? |
|
I had one of each. Just by handling them, it was clear that the SA58 felt better. The trigger was much better also. I'm sure you could have an STG tuned up.
They were both very DSA and very nice. You can't go wrong with either, but if I'd say if you have the cash, go SA58. You won't regret it. |

When DSA was using StG 58 kits to build their StG58 rifles, they were the finest rifles that DSA ever made. Now that they are using U S made barrels on the StG and the SA58, it really doesn't matter. If you must have a DSA built rifle, go with the StG58. It has the same warranty and the same mediocre barrel, but the StG58 costs less. |

Hebrew Battle Rifle, I was not set on a DSA but most folks I talked to said that was the way to go. Do you recommend something different? |
