This was posted as one of the guns that was traded for the guys animals in Ohio that were released on the town. Wasn't posting about the story (ignore the animal pictures), but the odd gun.

FAL with an AR handle.

FAL with a receiver mounted optics platform with an AR carry handle mounted on it. Easy to do, but I can't imagine why you would. The sights wouldn't even be close to being on target elevation wise.

You've heard of back-up irons, this is a back-up carry handle...very tactiCOOL...

It looks like the AR handle is jsut on there as a joke or soemthing. It's just a regular flattop scope mount bolted over the dust shield then the AR handle attached. There was probally some FAL picture thread or discussion and he slapped it on there for the funnies and left it to mess with people.
