The question has been posed in multiple locations as to the validity of the claim that Springfields SAR Mags are actually Israeli Mags. Since this has been asked and discussed in great depth, here is the picture to prove that these are indeed new in the wrap Israeli mags. Just received my order on Wednesday. Got mine on sale for 13.30 each. So be watching for them to be on sale, that is unless Springfield noticed a spike in sales 
ETA: Took a couple out of the packaging. These are brand new. Cleaned all the cosmoline off inside and out, and they look like they were just made yesterday!

Been ordering these as funds allow about 1 order every 6-8 weeks over a 6 month time frame. Every order I've received have been NIW Israeli mags, perfectly preserved in mint condition. All have had the 5/77 tag in the 4 pack.
They must have cranked out a ton of mags that month! |

Yes! The website states these are only for the SAR rifles. However these are in fact Metric FAL Mags.
On a side note I am starting to notice a lot of people all of the sudden selling these mags around the dot.com for as much as 25 a piece! Save yourself some money and order them yourself especially if you can find them on sale. Personally I find it shameful that fellow "gun" guys would exploit other "gun" guys rather than helping them find good deals, which is what this post was originally intended to do. |
