This is what I got a entreprise type 3. I can't seem to get my Steel Lock Plate holes to match w/the scope mount holes. I have to put the screw at an angle to get the plates to tighen up. This cause my bolt carrier to hit the Lock Plate and through my shoots off Thanks Stone |

Maybe I have some of these parts mixed up but if you are talking about the little plates that lock the scope base on the gun..3 on the left side and 2 on the right side(at least on my model) and your bolt is hitting the plates Note-I mean the bolt carrier when I was saying bolt. Why would you ever shoot your gun if you knew the bolt was hitting something during its cycle? or maybe I mis understood your question. |
| yeah the bolt carrier was hitting the locking plates on the inside left 3 plates. I have not had any problem with the bolt carrier with just the dust cover on the gun I was getting great 2.5inch groups form the sandbags. I have no worries with the gun itself., just the left side place. I look inside the gun after removing the BCG and show the three left plates and a line on them the same place as the BCG. I'll see what I can do tonight. |
| Get two 8-32 screws, 1/2" long. Get the plate started and then tighten it on with these, then swap out the factory screws one at a time. Correct me if I am wrong about the thread pitch, but, you get the idea. Also, use a soft mallet and make sure the mount is down all the way. Tap it down as you seat the plate. |
