| Need Help, Been interested in these style rifles for quite some time I do not know ANY thing about these style of Rifles or clones. Is there any i should avoid, looking for a RELIABLE on for around 1K |

Hesse used to have a bad reputation but I've heard they have improved their quality lately. I'm not sure they make complete rifles.
Century seem to be hit or miss. DSA is very good quality and U.S. made. You can find used ones for about a grand. Like this one that recently sold on FALfiles. You can find lots of them that were home built at reasonable prices, but of course that will be hit of miss, too. Most people who get them really love them. Good luck |

I'd go with a DSA StG58A. Order direct from DSA and have it transfered for just over a grand. Or get a new used one. Don't take a chance on a Centruy or a Hesse
These are my 2 DSAs http://i31.tinypic.com/2w1xz0i.jpg |

| DSA sells that rail with long bolts and those oval nuts. Attach them through the vents on Belgian polymer handguards. Then I used a Viking offset mount on a Surefire. Works pretty well...my thumb of the support hand is in perfect position to press the tailcap switch. |

I was in your shoes earlier this year.
Couldn't afford gun+mags+ammo Saw a guy locally selling a DSA, 8NIW FN mags and a case of port ammo. 200 bucks over the cost of a new DSA, Gun was mint too. Asked a buddy about it. Said DSA is top notch, Think of it as a Giant AK. Bought it. Love it! Would do it again in a heartbeat. FAL is my new favorite weapon. |
