Was curious what kind of accuracy I can expect, it's a new 18" model. I've read 1-8 inches @ 100 yards- pretty vague, if you fellas that own DSA's could chime in that would be helpful. Thanks.

I put a 3x9 Nikon scope on mine.  Groups at 100 yds are 1.25 to 2.00 inches all day.  With Wolf ammo.  Some ammo shoots better, some worse.  I think the good optics make a big difference.  The bigger groups are a lot more common than the small ones.

Just got my stg-58 in the mail the other day, 21 in brl.  Spent some time at the range this weekend and broke the barrel in the way dsa recomends, shoot a round then clean it with a copper cleaner and so on for 10 rounds, then clean it every 2 rounds for the next 10.   The first 15 rounds it was grouping pretty bad but i was getting a lot of nasty black stuff out of the barrel, after about 20 rounds they tightened up to less than an inch at 50 yards and i wasnt getting all the black stuff on my cleaning patches anymore.  I was shooting some quick hand loads i through together, 150 fmj-bt with 44 grains of blc-2 powder and mixed brass.  By the looks of things i think it is going to be in an inch at 100 yards when i get some loads worked up for it.  I was very impressed when it came in the mail, nice rifle, i have got to hand it to the folks at dsa, they put out a nice product, well worth the wait.
