| Does DSA make their SA-58 in "inch" or "metric"? I would guess inch as DSA is an American company. I would prefer inch as I understand you can use metric & inch magazines in an inch gun, but only metric in a metric gun. -John |

Inch and metric down't have much to do with measurements.
Inch pattern FALa were built and used by the Commonwealth nations while the Metric patterns were built and used by non-commonwealth nations. By Commonwealth, I mean, Britian, Canada and Austriala. Metric countries were, but not limited to, Belgium, Germany, South Africa, Brazil and Argentina to name a few, While many of the parts are interchangle, many are not. The Gas block, for instance is different as is the furniture. You can put Metric internals in a Inch receiver and mount a metric barrel. Many people build Inch kits using a Metric receiver. |

Can you put an inch bolt/carrier in a metric FAL? I guess you would have to change the head spacing, right? |
