they make a nice tuning fork ringing sound after being fired.


I had one on a 16" DPMS 308 for awhile, and realized that the $17 short Steyr type that my 16" FAL wears performs almost exactly the same--mediocre at best for taming flash.

I haven't tried one on a FAL, but on my HKs and ARs, they provide a slight increase in accuracy.
