What is the going price currently of an original FN FAL 50.00 rifle? TIA XXX |

They actually seem to sell for around 3K when you see them on Gunbroker, etc. Occasionally you can find them in the 2300-2500 range. Im talking the standard 50.00 as imported by GSI, etc. They are all marked ".308 Match" so there is not a 50.00 "competition" model per se. I paid 2300 for the one I bought recently. I have one I bought in the early 80s and it was a whopping 1200 then(about twice what an HK91 would have gone for then). As with anything, alot has to do with condition. There are far fewer FN FALs out there than say, HKs so if you want one you have to look pretty hard. There was one reasonably priced on the FAL files just a week or two ago so you might check the marketplace there. |
