I can get 750 rds in ammo can of indian .308 for $80. the guy has 3k more he got years ago. Is it worth my time and $$ to get any of it for $80?

The 1970's Indian on stripper clips is supposed to be better than the 1990's stuff, which has a very bad reputation.

only get the 1970's headstamped Indian ammo. The 80's and 90's stuff is bad news.

I shot cans of the 91 production through my FAL's and had no problems. I'd jump on it for $80

i bought a 400 round can for 100 dollars a few gunshows ago. ive shot 150 rounds so far and it was decent. id buy as much of it as i could at that price.

yep. 80OHV headstamp is shit surplus,10rds plastic packed. After a couple of squib loads, bullet lodged in the barrel I boxed the stuff. Pure junk.
