Ok, I know I might get ripped for this, but I was just wanting to know if anyone has shot the wolf .308 and how it does accuracy and functionality wise. I know it has a reputation of being dirty, but how does it shoot. With the drying up of surplus ammo is this a fair substitute? Thanks

I use a ton of Wolf - - 223, 308 5.45, and 7.62X39... no worries

its dirt but even in the AR10 - I have not had a problem with the new stuff

I have shot about 500 rounds of Wolf between my PTR91 and DSA STG58 with no problems.

Edit:  Never mind.... I saw it's really just one person's bitching about Wolf not an overall problem.

Why does DSA say to avoid wolf 308 in their FAL's?

Same reason many companies say don't use it in ARs.  Covers their ass.

There was some talk of steel case .308 not holding up very well and a few people getting blown primers but nothing that really documents that very well.  I know I saw it but I can't remember where.

That's the one...  I knew there was something pretty serious.  I just decided it really isn't cheap enough anyway and it's not terribly accurate either so I didn't use anything but the first 500 rounds.  I'll stay away from that in .308 I think.
