There is an FAL currently for sale in the equipment exchange.  It is a DSA STG58 and has been up for several days.  At $900 it seems like a great deal so why is it still there?  Is there an issue I am not aware of with some of these builds?  I have one and paid more for it than that and think is is worth every penny.  I have no interest in the ad or the seller, just wondering what I am missing.

I think the DSA STG58 are the best FAL's.  Not having seen the rifle or even the add and assuming it is in excellent condition it is a fair price, if it is NIB is is a great deal.  Having said all this, I have had several STG58's for sale.  They were always slow sellers.  I will special order them and rarely stock them for that reason.

Because this is "AR15.COM"--- -where........AR-15's are king

Bet it wouldn't last long at "FAL FILES"----where........FAL's are king

Just look at how slow this forum is sometimes, then look at AR discussions

2 years ago they were available from FAC for $815.  I don't know if they are still available or what their price is now but $900 for a used former ban era rifle with no round count stated may be a little high IMO.  But I guess if you compared it to a new DSA non kit rifle it may be cheap.

If it was under $800 I would consider it a "deal".  But that's just my opinion.

I dont know, make sure its real nice because you can get one factory direct (and new) for 200. more.

Of course you might have to wait a couple months

Great gun for the money if its a real nice one.

FAC is no longer in business. Yes, they did have some of the lowest prices on these when they were around. But never in stock----and a several month waite generally.

Now, the 58A's are pushing $1000 from "stocking" dealers that i've seen.
