We'll see how she shoots tomorrow, bought the rifle CHEAP, all parts look to be in excellent condition, and it's on a IMBAL receiver. It is not a Century gun. Guy needed $$ quick. I obliged. The entire rifle cost me about what a new IMBAL receiver would run.

Well went out and ran 140 rounds of SA thru her. Quite surprised that it was as accurate as it was. Took a few rounds to get it on paper as I changed out the front sight from a no dot to a 2 dot. I can see why the guy might have sold it cheap as I have a feeling he never got it on paper. Once I did that and set the gas system [4.5 for SA was perfect], it ran perfectly and I have a feeling the kiddo is going to try to steal it, as he liked it better then the M1A I had out also. Even with the bleh sights I could make head shots on a silohette target at 100 yds once sighted in. All in all I did OK. It's a PAC stamped gun but it seems to have been put together correctly and I saw no signs of any pressure problems or the like. |
PAC imported Imbel receivers are sweet, that said check the headspace, just to be safe. |
