I always wanted one, finely my son bought me a FAL, and the sights suck, I mean they really SUCK.

Now who makes a decint rear sight (adjustable for elevation and windage, perferably 1/4 moa sight) for this thing.

Take into account I am use to the NM sights on the M1A/M1.  I can't see if the gun is worth a dern without sights.

Thanks

DSA Tactical Para Steel Rear Sight with positive click windage knob

I have one of these and love it.  I replaced the A1 aperture with an A2.

+1, you could also go with the hooded Belgian style that DSA offers.

What's the difference between the A1 and A2 aperture? Does the hooded one that dsa sells have a adjustment knob for windage?

How do you replace the a1 for an a2 aperture? Does dsa sell the a2?
I like this sight from dsa, but haven't heard much feedback about it, I would think more people have tried it by now.

The A1 flip two-position aperature peepholes are the same size (.082) and the A2 has two different size peepholes.  The A2 aperature is the same as a standard AR15 A2 sight.  Remove roll pin from knob and screw from sight, to repalce the A1 with an A2.

Get a good rail dustcover and put a red dot on it. Works great for me!

So part #9349075 from Bushmaster(on this Page ) would be a drop in replacement for the A1 sight?

Would anyone be able to post some good pictures of the DSA para rear sight installed on a rifle ?

Would like to see it from a side profile if possible.

I assume they have the base of that sight angled corrrectly so that the apertures are sitting at the correct angle. The DSA marketing person should be shot for taking that picture, as it is impossible to tell how that sight would sit on the rifle.

Thanks to anyone who can provide a good shot of that Para sight installed on a non-Para lower.

Awesome, thanks for the info and I am sorry if I did a hijack here.

kraigWY......FAL is a great firearm and you will have many years of enjoyment out of it. Post some pics for us when you are able.

Here's the DSA Para sight installed on a DSA Para Congo custom, a side view (sorry, no standard stock):

Cool thanks for the pic.

Looks like both para and non para lowers are set up the same way in terms of the rear sight mounting point and more importantly, plane.  Maybe stating the obvious, but don't like to make assumptions about this stuff.
