What should I be after?  Who has them at decent prices/condition?  I'm sure this has been asked several times, but didn't find any current topics in the forum.

DSA has some at a decent price. $5 for used ones with a new spring and $9 for like new ones.

What's the overall condition on the used?  Will I get a mix of good and useless?

You may want to call and ask condition.  Some people get used mags that look new and some get junk.  Fal mags even though they seemed abundant at one time athey are slowly going up in price.  Just a year and a half ago military gun supply (www.mgs.com) was selling surplus Styer FAL mags in excellent to like new condition for $3 each.  towards the end they got a little bad but it was a great deal. Sometimes you can find a deal on the FALFILES for 10 new in the box FN made mags for $120 shipped.   They usually sell fast though.

I picked up 10 from CDNN a month ago. They are in excellent shape.

I just got 5 used mags in from DSA. $5.00 a piece gets you mags in good quality with a new spring in them. Finish is anywhere from 90% to 50%. No dents, no rust, fully functional. I will be refinishing them within the month. It's a great buy for $5 each.
Even the like new ones for $9 is a good deal. The like news are just that, new mags with small amount of handle wear to the finish. 98% to 80% finish.
