I tried posting this question on the VOW forum on the FAL files site  but got no response. I recently purchased a VOW  para rear sight with the adjustable windage with A2 aperature.  When using the small aperature  Inotice there is quite a bit of verical play. In fact when turning the windage knob clockwise the aperature rotates up about 2-3mm. I can push it down again but I expected the two apertures to snap in place and not move similar to  an AR. This only occurs with the small aperature and not the large one. I could just use one apterature but  after spending $75  I expected to be able to use both aperatures. Does anyone have one of these and is this typical for these units. I am trying to decide if I should send it back for replacement but if they all do this than I wouild rather return it for a refund.  I also have a Belgian style rear sight from DSA that does not have this problem although it does not have the adjustable windage. knob.

I have one on my carbine and really like it.  I have no verticle play in mine, the windage knob functions exactly like an AR-A2 sight.  Might ought to give VOW a call, they are an excellent company to deal with.
