Skip it, it's only a high/low switch.

Yes but I've got one mounted on an AR and want to swap the .308 cam for a .223

I already have the cam. I am asking for info on how to remove the .308 one and install the .223 cam.

Unscrew the allen screw at the top of the lever, the lever comes off and then you can rotate the cam past the forward limit and it will fall out of the bottom of the sight. Its really easy to do, takes longer to describe than to preform.
