I'm down to the last part. I've got everything for a build except for a legal muzzle brake. It's come down to: -a Belgian replica manufactured by FSE -a STG 58-like device that is threaded so that the device is actually flush with the end of the barrel. This is said to remove the potential for interference with the bullet as could occur with a muzzle brake. It make the rifle look like an STG-58 carbine. -a long STG-58 brake manufactured by DSA. Any thoughts? |

If you want a great brake, but is load as hell, the DSA side ports one works great. I have one on a DSA rifle and it cuts way down on the recoil. If you want one that is not as loud, The Imbel type looks pretty good, but you will have more recoil. If your going for something to attach to the threaded barrel, and don't really care about recoil, then the Fake STG-58 works, due to it being a barrel stablizer because of the added weight on the end of the barrel. |
