[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt Hold Open: Just replace a part?

I've got a lower with a non-functional bolt hold open. It looks like the perpendicular "pin" was removed from the BHO vertical "rod".
Is getting a functional BHO as simple as replacing that pin (or installing a metric BHO with the horizontal piece)? The rest of the kit is inch, but the rec. is Imbel metric.

The bolt hold open goes in the upper not lower receiver. Easily obtainable from Tapco for $10. Don't try and fix it, buy a new one.
