I saw this .308 caliber rifle which looked like an FAL copy...I believe it was made by Century Arms. It had a carry handle which would fold down. It was $499.
Is this a quality firearm? Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks

Century guns are garbage. Hesse are worse. It may shoot but it may also be headspaced dangerously. Is the receiver marked? if it is a Hesse receiver run away. If it is an Imbel receiver buy it.

I've not heard much good about Century... some folks will tell you that they got a dirt cheap Century and that it works just fine...others will tell a different story... if you are new to FALs and want the skinny, go to the message boards at the falfiles.com
