| So it seems the Mk11 cleaning kits are now unicorns and every vendor is sold out. Has anyone tried to replicate (put together) their own kits? The components don't seem that hard to acquire. It's the clear box. While nothing special, the main feature, seems to be the ability to position the dividers like a Plano type tackle box. There are no latches as the lid just snaps over. Any help in trying to pin down this box type would be most appreciated. |

Looks like it would be pretty tight with the 5-25 depending on which clip-on gets used. Here’s an example of mine with a 4-16 ATACR and it overhangs the handguard. Uses about 14 picatinny slots from the front of the pvs30 mount to the clip-on ocular.

I’ll check again later but from what I can tell in that picture and remember, yes it does slightly overlap the front sight but the support lugs don’t and only interface with the handguard. Never has seemed to be an issue. |

Mainly the claim that the mk11 mod 1 didn’t exist. Then just pictures of the m110 or mod 1 whilst referencing the mk11 mod 0. I never thought of the fact that gas port placement in the recess of the rifling could make an impact thought that was really interesting. Don’t see the bcg out yet though i know he’s working on them. |

How many variations are allowed before a rifle isn't considered an M110 clone? I see a lot of great rifles in this thread, but I also see a lot of different finishes, optics, optic mounts, stocks, barrel lengths, suppressors. m ETA: Another way, probably a better way, to ask: What are the core elements that identify it as an M110? ETA2: I ask this because, using the MEU(SOC) 1911 thread as an example, some people consider a 1911 with Pachmayr grips to be a MEU(SOC), while others get tetchy if the sights and ambidextrous safeties aren't the correct profile. |

I will have to source the components and build up my own kit. It's for my USMC Mk11 Mod 1. Thank you for any help!! ETA: The older style shown below. KAC has the pdf's but it's a newer style.  |
