I know I could get an adapter and be done, but I don't like the thought of that much force on those shallow threads and also seems like the adapter's "press fit" with the castle nut would leak and be less efficient with a suppressor?
I've read that the best I can do on my 22" bbl would be to cut/thread to 1/2x28 and then run an adapter to get up to the desired 5/8/24. Can the end of my SCOUT barrel be re-threaded where the existing threads are to 5/8x24? Thanks All |
