Is there a website out there that ships en bloc clips at a very cheap price? Just bought my first 10 clips through Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008H7207O/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_3p_M3T1_ST1_dp_1 Not sure how the pricing worked out, but I was only charged $17.95 shipped. |

Give CMP a try:http://thecmp.org/Sales/accessories.htm#clips
The easy to carry Garand clips is by specifically-designed pouch (tough to find in nylon/PALS) or via bandolier. To pack them in bandoliers (which are thin cloth) you will want to buy the cardboard nose caps, which keep the bullet tips from eventually poking holes in the fabric. Numrich used to sell the things in sealed drums, but the price was up there, and shipping added. OTOH, if you know a lot of garand owners, you could go in together, or buy it yourself and sell them over the web. |

|
I just ordered 100 clips (4 boxes of 25), on April 17th. Tracking shows FedEx is to deliver them tomorrow, April 28th. The CMP charges $20.00 for a box of 25. Shipping is $6.95 for orders up to $100.00. You can order them online through their estore. These are newly manufactured clips for the CMP.
Hope that answers all your questions. Dave |

I probably have over a hundred because of buying clipped surplus. 10-15 is good for a day at the range IMO |

Yes, they pretty much last forever. I've read accounts of match shooters using the same couple of clips for years.
I have more than I can count. I go to the range with a few loaded clips and a box/can of reloads. Then, as I'm watching someone else shoot, I reload my clips from the box/can of ammo. I keep all my clips loaded. Till I empty them through the M1. |
