Any JAE fans here?

I would love to be a fan and extoll the virtues of JAE
Sadly, that is not possible at the moment.  I ordered 2 of their stocks at SHOT 2010 and have not seen them.
Yep, been waiting 20 MONTHS now.  Made a deposit at SHOT.  Paid in full a year ago when they told me the stocks would ship within 6 weeks.
Now they say I will have them this month.  If not, they'll be hearing from an attorney.

Might be a great product.  I couldn't say, since they won't send me my stocks.

I waited for a year before I finally asked for a refund of my $400 deposit.  They refunded my money with no muss or fuss.  However, the repeated empty delivery date promises ensure that I will not do business with them again.  They have some serious issues with manufacturing and hitting deadlines.

I would love to own one of these puppies but the waiting times are just too long. I have heard from so many people that they ordered one and did not get it within a YEAR!!! I mean in this thread is a guy who ordered two and is waiting two years! Thats just not okay - no matter how good they are. They have these problems for many years now and still not caring about emplying a few more workers...

If you really want to have one very badly - go check gunbroker. There are always one or two of them... They may be not custom but if you wait one or two months you may find one that fits quite decently. With instant shipping!

I have one, not the newest generation though. Got it on GB for about $800 in perfect condition. It's a nice stock but obviously with the weight not something you would want to carry around.

I have a 1st Gen that I ordered when they first came out and had it in a week. Guess I got lucky.

JAE sells options yet to be produced.

Great Stock though.

Miserable wait times.

Misquoted wait times.

delayed deliveries.

Cheerful CS.

Simple refunds.

"Nuff said.

Just got my JAE700  long action two weeks ago with most all the options you could ask for. Good CS, if you ask for status they get it to you. But I am a patient man, so ymmv.

2.5 years (.) with that, I was lucky number 102 in line specific for the 700 stocks as of January this year. So it would seem they have since been been quite busy building these with the new tooling they got. But, it didn't matter to me because I had a lot of saving to do for the rifle. The m1a stocks, seem plentiful though, they always seem to have one on the buy it now..

Eta I just posted pics in the precision section titled "I'm here to tease you"
