I'm planning a trip to Anniston soon. I just got all the paperwork in order and completed. Do I send it in ahead of time or can I take it with me to the store??? I'm a first timer and want to get it right!
Thanks, 'Mo

Either way is fine. Save some postage and just take it in with you.

Careful, CMP Garands have a way of multiplying.

Just be sure to take your passport or a copy of your U.S. birth certificate. I found out the hard way that a driver's license won't suffice.

Really?  I went to the NS a few years ago with my DL, carry permit, C&R license and affiliated club card and walked out with a light wallet.

Let them ship it to you.  The shipping is cheaper than the 9% sales tax.

I believe the CCL and the C&R both qualify for the identification portion of the requirements.

The CCL and C&R qualify you for the firearms activity (marksmanship) requirement but not citizenship.

If you have a passport whether or not it's expired, photocopy the face page.  That will take care of citizenship and age.
