I have @ 100 rounds of Greek surplus through my
M1. What is the standard round count to clean the barrel
for copper? I run a brass brush through it after every
shooting session. Thanks!! Jim

Jarhead, I have actually had to use a wire brush WITH Sweet's 7.62 only rarely, and only on old and well-used M1's.  I do use patches only, combined with aforementioned Sweet's, on rifles as other poster stated, when accuracy falls off.  This varies with the gun.  I'll become concerned with copper fouling after 400 to 500 rounds through my M1A's, and 40 rounds through my Browning A-bolt.  I went prairie dog shooting in Northwestern Texas once and shot a bull barreled AR15 700 times without any cleaning, whatsoever.  This is my experience and I, as a generaly rule, disassemble and clean a rifle less rather than often.  Other people have different attitudes and experiences.  Hope this helps.
